This setup allows for the dilution of 98% sulfuric acid to any desired concentration, with the outlet temperature of the diluted sulfuric acid carefully maintained below 45°C. Remarkably, a single unit of this system can handle dilution capacities of up to 20m3/h of 98% sulfuric acid.

Within the cooler, a sophisticated convective heat transfer process takes place between the diluted sulfuric acid and recycled cooling water. Through intricately designed bore tunnels within graphite blocks, the dissolving heat from the concentrated sulfuric acid seamlessly transfers to the recycled cooling water, ensuring precise temperature control of the diluted sulfuric acid at the system outlet in accordance with specific requirements.
Furthermore, the graphite cooler’s shell side can be specially treated to accommodate various corrosive cooling mediums, or it can be integrated for thermal coupling with external systems to enhance energy utilization efficiency.
