Detailed description of our Chlor-Alkali bipolar electrolyzer:
A cell unit is composed of anode, cathode, ion-exchange membrane, cell frame and busbar etc, each chlor-alkali bipolar electrolyzer is composed of several cells in series. Anode made from titanium mesh, in order to prolong the life time of the electrode and improve the efficiency of the electrolysis, anode mesh is coated with ruthenium, iridium and other oxide coating; cathode is made from nickel mesh, coated with ruthenium and other oxide coating; Ion-exchange membrane is divided bipolar electrolyzer into the anode compartment and cathode compartment. Nickel material used for manufacturing bipolar electrolyzer is from Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co. (Japan), Ltd. and ThyssenKrupp (Germany), titanium is from Allegheny Technologies (United States) and Nippon Steel Corporation (Japan).
Technology advantage of Chlor-Alkali bipolar electrolyzer
BLUESTAR’s independently developed Chlor-Alkali bipolar electrolyzer have five characteristics. The operation parameters reach the global advanced level, run stable in current density 6.0kA/m2, power consumption will be lower than 2000kWh/t-NaOH 100% basis.
BLUESTAR has the world’s advanced production lines. At present, the annual production capacity of chlor-alkali bipolar electrolyzer and electrode is 3 million tons and 5 million tons respectively.
